The type of research of this work is called of case study dust Gil (2002), consisting of a research instrument to assist in the hydraulical equipment knowledge. Also they exist inclusas in the work research of survey for the determination of 0 variable. 5,2 Object of Research the case study was carried through in the spring of the Stream of the Cachoeirinha, Basin of the River Arcs, city of Arcs. The Stream was chosen in virtue of its localization next to the city and for the installed hydraulical equipment existence. The analysis and identification of the necessary points to the hydraulical equipment installation had been carried through following some parameters, cited for Stano Jnior (2007): 1 – Ascertainment of the water necessity throughout one day through the reservoirs of storage. 2 – Measurement of the outflow of the canal of feeding in period of estiagem, by means of float, chronometer and analysis statistics of the collected times, as Chevallier (2000).

The sketch of the georeferenciada area, another factor to be observed for better understanding of carried through work was traced in program GPS TRAD MAKER. The preliminary inspection of the propitious places the installation and attainment of data as unevenness and distance between the points was carried through with aid of G.P.S and metric trena. An important observed factor was the ascertainment of the minimum outflow of the stream throughout the years and the maximum limit of captation allowed for the governmental body, through the method of regionalizaes of outflows established by the COPASA. For this, the calculation of the area of the basin was necessary until the point of captation of water for the topographical letter of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Estatstica (IBGE), leaf SF-23-C-I-4, in the scale 1:50.000, for identification of the tipologia of the basin and also the use of data priced in cartilha of the Copasa for use in the regression equation, for posterior crossing of data with the income maps specifies of outflows for the basins of the state of Minas Gerais, as the method established.
